2D action-RPG Apotheon is coming to PlayStation 4 and Steam on February 3, developer Alientrap announced today.
Apotheon will be released on PlayStation 4 as one of February's PlayStation Plus games. Steam users and PlayStation 4 owners without PS Plus will be able to purchase the game for $15 USD.
Based on Greek mythology, Apotheon combines “open-world, Metroidvania, side-scroller, action-RPG, and platformer” elements, according to co-designer and programmer Lee Vermeulen.
In IGN's preview of Apotheon, we were impressed by its "super-responsive and highly reactive" combat, as well as its potential gameplay depth.
