Inspired by Norse mythology and pattern welded blades. The Midgard Serpent Jörmungandr is shown encircling a sword.
It is said that the god Heimdall raises Gjallarhorn to signal the coming of Ragnarök in which Yggdrasil groans, the roads between the worlds break, and the serpent and Thor will battle a final time as the world ends.
I made this while dealing with a lot of OCD, anxiety disorder, insomnia and depression. I'm mostly posting this here to thank Cohh as well as Ezekiel III, Ellohime and itmeJP for being incredibly entertaining and all around uplifting for the past several weeks while I've been, well, trying to stay positive and motivated. It's always wonderful to have a great community to interact with through the crazy Twitch chat and watch awesome people. And by awesome I truly mean awesome in every sense of the word. Also, huge shoutout to every player on RollPlay and Adam Space Master Koebel and Steven Show-Canceller Lumpkin for being especially great to listen to while working on this piece.
