Tom Clancy's: The Devision thoughts

Hey peeps!
Just a simple question for you all. What are you thoughts on this game? Since there's been I believe only one trailer regarding gameplay and their facebook page is full of fan art, do you think this game is in slow development or overhyped? LET ME KNOW!

I'm optimistic about it but after the Destiny burn I'm very hesitant. But that goes for most AAA games now I suppose. I think they need put on a good show at E3 to assure me. If it turns out to be what the claim I'm on board for the Division. I can only wait and see at this point.

Same. After their recent productions I was following this game very religiously but just cautious at the moment and await when streamers start playing it before I get it.

I only played Rainbow Six and it's add-on, Eagle Watch, and I enjoyed those. I didn't really pay attention to anything past that, so someone's going to have to catch me up on the Tom Clancy video game legacy.

From everything I've seen so far, I'm looking forward to it. However, like many other great looking games pre-launch, I'm hesitant to jump on the pre-order bandwagon.

It's an Ubisoft game, so I'm just gonna wait and see if it is inevitably a disappointment. No pre order bandwagoning for me

I'm a bit wary of The Division with the scale of it and what has happened with other Ubisoft products recently. Could be great if done well, or it could be a disappointment. With it's scale though I'm definitely not surprised as the development length, and the posting art is a simple way for them to keep the hype up for people who are interested.

Uplay doesn't particularly help it either for me >_>.

After the disaster that was AC:Unity and wasted potential of Watch Dogs I think a lot of people will be (or should be) cautious about jumping onto an hype wagon being pulled along by ubisoft.

I personally have high hope for it, open world PvP/PvE, loot drops for weapons and from the gameplay videos capture your own safehouse. The gadgets are always amazing to see in action. I will be pre ordering it for sure. The only thing I can forsee wrong with this from the game play videos this looks like a fire team based game so if you don't have two other friends that are on your not going to play. We have yet to see any single player missions or solo play at all. This is definitely a buddy game or bust it seems

I'm going to echo what others have already said here and point out that it's a Ubisoft game. While they have never been one of my favorite publishers, the recent debacles of their "AAA" releases keep me away. They will have to have 3-4 very solid releases in a row before I even think about buying another of their games. I'm putting Bioware in a similar boat. Although, if they knock it out of the park with ME4 then I'll probably have confidence in them again, but right now I'm not holding my breath.

Finally, I think there has been one positive outcome from the recent bad Ubisoft releases. People are finally (slowly but surely) seeing the light that pre-orders are just bad for consumers. The big publishers can only sucker people for so long before they start to wake up. I'm hoping that the pre-order and Early Access bandwagons burn up within the next few years.

Im cautionly optimistic aswell, trying avoid raising too much hype for it. Until I see more gameplay and more assurance its coming soon, I wont be raising hype yet but damn it sounds and looks cool! (what they shown so far).

Count me in for it! (PC) Rly excited especially after the last Trailer they did. Ofc we all know that's just a Trailer, but i liked what they showed tbh. Also iv'e seen the leaked materials, and that was good enough for me to have a glimpse on what to "await".

And i can't wait. Not over hyped but Pre Order is running and i would wish we had a time maschine

I don't know if you guys have seen already, but "Angry Joe" (i dont like him, but that's a matter of taste, and we all know how it is when it comes to taste.....) made an nice 1hr Vid from "The Division" and here we get "more to see" from the World. Sure, as it is from the same Press Event, we don't see any new Missions and such, BUT we see more from the World we will play in. Considering it was/is still Alpha/Beta Gameplay and the KI is not "there yet", it is a nice Vid and worth to look.
