Need some help getting SubAlerts working with OBS

I have looked at countless tutorial videos, dozens of reddit articles and nothing seems to work. I can get SubAlerts to post in the test box, but it refuses to post it to the stream preview or recording. So i'm turning to one of the best stream communities in hopes that someone will be able to give me some assistance. Thanks for your time.

I use sub alert as well. Did you as a window capture in the OBS source and then capture "MAIN" from the sub alert software. You can set the color key to remove the green if you set it up. User the inner window. Sometimes when you shut down subalert you have to link the source again. Hope this helps.
