When i say a little i mean a lot :( haha. I've been researching for a couple of days now and am just getting bogged down by all the options and available parts.
Basically I game on my ps4 and xbox one but am looking for a mid range pc to help me set up a decent stream as well as play some new games (most will be played on consoles for example the only game I'm playing on pc atm is pillars of eternity but would play more if my system could handle it).
The run down of my 6 year old PC spec is as follows ( you will understand my very limited knowledge by my vague run down of my current pc)
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 661 @ 3.33GHz 3.33GHz
Ram 4GB
64 bit operating system
ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series 1024MB.

I guess most of these parts are too old to probably use in a new pc and all i know about the motherboard is it only has 2 slots for ram and i would very much like 4 possible slots. I'm based in England and am looking to spend around £500 if anyone has any decent insight and knowledge of what parts or pre made builds that would suit my needs i would be very great full for your time and helping me out and giving me some advice :D !

Cheers

My budget is:£500
I live in:England
Operating system: Need one
Monitor: I have a Hp 2010i monitor but would be willing to spend around £80 more if i could get a much better one
Gaming resolution : Single Monitor at the best possible quality resolution ?
Peripherals?: If someone recomends a decent keyboard and mouse that would be nice but it's not a necessity.
Will you do overclocking?: I'm very much a noob at all this but would be willing to if i could get more out of my pc for doing it with out being too risky ?
What are you planning to do with the pc?: gaming and streaming.

Mid ranged pc for 500£ is really hard to do and if you want to stream from your consoles you would need a capture card, there are three ways i would go about this, either you buy a new pc without graphicscard(relying on the integrated graphics then/your old gpu) and capturecard, you buy used parts or you do mid ranged gaming pc and skimp out on the streaming.

I will give you some examples later.

hmmm fair enough ! :D like I say I don't know a lot, but if i could get some examples of decent set ups for gaming and then bits to add on at a later to date for streaming or something that might work. Most of my streaming can be done Via the consoles at the moment anyway. Thanks very much for giving me some help by the way !

this build is fairly expensive, http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/z3pgmG unfortunately i need a monitor and operating system unless i use the free windows 10 trial ? and tips on how to get it down in price ? as i'm most likely to be playing more demanding games e.g witcher 3 on my PS4 anyway ?

Thanks guys ! :D
