I am going to slowly build a pc, for now i will be getting more ram, a new mobo and a processor. The rest of the parts i will be scavenging from the existing once. The most notable part being the GPU
- AMD radeon HD 5800 series
I will be buying the parts over a few months interval due to money constraints, but i have been looking at two options for setups.
-MSI B85M-E45 Socket 1150
-Intel core i5-4460
-8 gigs of DDR 3 ram, undecided on brand
Or i am considering the option of upping the processor to
-intel core i5-4690k
The purpose of the pc being a gaming/streaming pc. The streamed games would be lighter games like indie games, ram and gpu will be upgraded down the line.
Will these components work together or should i spend abit more on the mobo just for futureproofing? Feedback is welcome, this is being bought in sweden so prices will be abit higher compared to US.
It would be ran on a 500 watts PSU which i have allready
With regards

i would give the motherboard a upgrade while you at it and i would say, save up the money and buy when you have all of it because then there is no chance of outdating
