So I have been a follower for quite some and a subscriber only for a short while. In that time, I have learned that the community that Cohh has built is one of genuine caring and understanding from some of the best people around.
So this is why I come today. Starting in August of 2014 I took the steps to join the US Army so that I could make sure that I could do all the things in my life I hadn't done previously. I wanted a stable income, to be able to support my daughter, give her the things that I never had when I grew up.
I tested well. Quite well. 98th percentile well. And everything looked good for me to be able to do what I had set out to. Then I went and took the medical exam. I passed everything except the fact that I have some serious dental issues (one of the reasons I was enlisting as well). This unfortunately disqualified me. I became disheartened and took a small break from my entrance as I processed what I needed to do next. After a bit, a friend of mine told me I should starter a gofundme page to see if other people were willing to help me out in accomplishing what I had set out to do.
So I did. And I have some awesome friends and family that did help. But I unfortunately reached the end of what I am capable of for spreading my message.
So I come asking that if people would find the kindness to look and if willing, at least help spread the word so that I can get past this final hurdle and on to what I truly wish to do in life.
