Is any1 else here a Hand held 3ds/ds fan if so are you excited for Pokémon X and Y coming out this October? Personally I cant wait it seems like it will be MUCH better then Black 2/White 2 since the biggest and most important guy who works on the pokemon games is actually been working on this ever since black and white 1 released I believe X and Y will be a major good step for pokemon with 3d graphics many new additions to the game etc so post your thoughts bout it here.

I'll probably have to wait another 2 months after release till it gets a working ROM and some fixes. I dont have money to buy a 3DS.
Being poor sucks.

Have any of you pokemon fans tried PokeMMO? It's pretty decent.

I actually have, yes. Gotten okay far, but I stopped after a few days. You get to the end pretty fast, so it's over quickly in my opinion. Of course you can aim to get alot of stuff, and also farm etc. but if you choose to do so, it get quite repetetive.
But yes, it is an excellent game, to be honest.

Also they have tournaments which can get pretty fun and also drive you into a lot more playtime with EV training IVs and all that. Getting that perfect pokemon lineup to wreck your oponents.

Too... much... work... *yawn*

When it gets released, i will have no life. Which one are you guys gonna get? I know there isn't much difference between the two games, but i personally seem to prefer the X-Pokemon much more than the Y-Pokemon.

A friend of mine is getting X, so Im getting Y. But I am a big fan of dark type so when the legendary pokemon is a dark type, its game over

Well brutal I guess its your lucky day then since Yveltal is a Dark Flying type an Xerneas is a Fairy type so since your getting Y it seems your getting a legendary of one of you favorite types!

Yeah, i haven't looked into much of the stories about the new games so far, so I don't know the names, but i'm choosing the fire starter to start for sure. He just seems like he's more than capable to be my favorite of the three starters, and i've taken a huge liking to him already.

Why do people still continue to buy these games? Yay for huge grindfest games with no real meaning

@ acidic it has a story and almost ALL MMOs and rpgs are grindy but people still play them due to they are fun they usually have a good or intertaining story so even though some games don't have a big meaning to do its because they are fun people buy them
but I can see why you don't like them too much since not every1 likes to grind that much and some people like to have a more specific meaning/story and stuff like you have a big objective then you get A new one and its a really in depth story so I can see why you might prefer those games over pokemon

The story is always the same though, from what i've seen atleast.. Just to capture pokemons and then beat up the youngsters at the Elite whatsamajigger?

Honestly I buy the games because Pokemon in general was a huge part of my childhood, and each time a new generation of Pokemon comes out, I get nostalgic to when i first played Pokemon Blue as a child, and i buy the new game then to see how far they have gone technologically since 1998. You have to admit, it's amazing what they've done since you played it on the gameboy color.
