Hey guys,
Been a while since I last posted, but have decided with the new parts, I had better make a new home for the rig.... so may I present to you my imperial battlestation..... it is still a WIP, but any feedback would be appreciated on its new home so far.
It will be my streaming machine so any suggestions will be appreciated. It is an i7 4790k 32 gb of ram, on an ASUS z97 board with an msi gtx 970 at the heart of it all. So far in the old tower the Temps are a bit spotty, thus the big new home.
Battlestation going in for some surgery to better airflow....

I actually decided beforehand to go with the Corsair Carbide Air 540, just for the airflow path since I won't be liquid cooling this beast for the foreseeable future.
And.... we are done. The original attachment was too large to post, so it didn't.... boo..... So far I am at 60 degrees GPU and 50 degrees CPU under full load. It is over 10 degrees different than the old case so I am happy with the build to say the least... that and I think it is sexy as hell... :p

Wow this looks good. Nice job, sounds like you are getting some great temps as well. I guess that was one thing I didn't say in my post was that I am using liquid cooled set up for my system.
