Video card price drop rumor?

Hey all, I have heard a rumor that prices will be dropping sometime in April on the higher end cards. Should I take a wait and see approach? Something about new types of cards with 24 gigs coming out this year? has anyone heard anything about this?

That would be a question for you. Rumors are just that, rumors...no way to know if it is real. Plus no idea how much price will be reduced. If you can wait until April then I would say to do it, if it is important to you to get it sooner, then do that. You could always try a low end card for not much money and then see what happens in April.

There had been a price drop on the fury nano so if you watercool that is nice. About 24 gigs, I don't think we'll see that in many years as the only application which can use more than 8gb vram is gpu accelerated video rendering.
