Thanks for informing the cohhilition! Personally I don't really care for M.O.B.A.'s, but I do quiet enjoy shooters. So I would say that overwatch is a better fit for me. Everyone is a special little star, and they like what they like. That said the cohhilition doesn't seem to enjoy overwatch very much lol, I wonder why that is?

I don't care for MOBA's either, and not much for arena shooters, but they are fun to watch.
I like to keep up on gaming news and wanted to help fans of these game styles understand the diffs between the two.

I suspect a large portion of the cohhilition are fans of deeper gameplay ^.^

I think it also might be an over-saturation factor. Overwatch has so many people streaming it that it's grown tiring for many avid Twitch-viewers. This may be, in fact, the largest case of over-saturation in Twitch's history.

Over-saturation of a single work of media does two things: it creates a conformist pull towards itself, and it inspires a rebellious repulsion from itself. Many people will have a knee-jerk reaction in one of those two ways, and thus form the core of both camps of "for" and "against". To those that don't have that emotional reflex, there's both a dual judgement of the game and its community. Because, let's be honest, the community of a game does affect our views of the game itself, no matter how unbiased you may believe yourself.

In essence, this is creating a very strong force of polarization. The adoration and hatred of the game will only reduce once its saturation reduces.

...I'm an anthropologist. It's what I do. >_>
