Hi, everyone!

My names Carey, and I'm pretty sure there is already a thread somewhere in here for this, but I just thought I'd go ahead and give it a shot to ask.

I'm relatively new to Fallout 4 (and late since it's been out for a while - money issues), and I was wondering if maybe someone could help a girl out as to where I could start finding all of the companions?

Also, any suggestions on who I should max out in regards to whatever benefits they may have (any order possibly?). Along with that, would any of these companions serve well at different settlements (like guarding them, etc)?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance! :D

Hi!

Any reason you didn't just searched "Fallout 4 Companions" on google? First find brings me to the Fallout 4 Wiki:
http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_4_companions

A warning though, as the site above also says how, where and when to find the companions so beware for spoilers! If you don't want to read it because you don't want to spoil anything just tell me how far you are into the game and I can look for you. Or if you just want a brief list of the companions I can do that as well.

What you should know, or already know, is that all companions (dis)like certain actions you do (for example: lockpicking, hacking) or things you decide to do/say during certain quests. This all can be read in the above wiki page (who (dis)like which actions and so on).

Once you max out the affinity level of your companion, you gain a specific companion perk, they're all different for any companion and can be found here:
http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Affinity (scroll down to Companion Perks). Again: beware for spoilers!

You could also just use the links to check which companion fits your playstyle and you like most (because their preferences and/or perk) and recruit him/her.

Hope I could help out a little :D

Well, the main reason I didn't check Google first was due to me wanting to ask the actual player base first (at least for this particular one - currently looking online for the magazines and bobble heads). My thinking on that was due to various people having various ways (sometimes easier ways than what I could find on Google).

I do appreciate your help and thank you!

Okay was just wondering :) Also, so sorry for replying this late... My water cooler was being annoying and almost gave up on me so I'm getting a new one this Saturday. Was a bit scared to use it a lot so haven't been gaming much.

Hope all is going well on Fallout and have fun! :D
