The new expansion for Path of Exile launches this friday! Figured this is a great opportunity to see who else is playing this amazing ARPG. If anyone is interested in grouping up for this and/or potentially creating a Cohhilition Guild to hang out, feel free to add/contact me:

I've played it on and off since 2011. The game has grown a lot since then and, in my opinion, it's the best ARPG on the market right now AND totally free. Can be overwhelming for new players to get started, so I suggest reading a few "new player guides".
Pros
+ A lot variation in character builds
+ In-depth theorycrafting mixed with fast-paced gameplay
+ While some endgame items are extremely powerful when built around, you can most definitely participate in the endgame on a tiny budget with certain builds
+ Hoarding all the loot!
+ Constant updates and bugfixes
+ Dev team actually communicates with the community and takes feedback seriously
Cons
- Trading is mostly done through a third party website due to lack of Auction House
- No tutorial to teach you about core gameplay mechanics
- Global chat channels are full of trolls. Don't expect serious answers to your questions most of the times

I've been playing PoE on and off since it came out and seriously it is a great game. The devs for the game keep coming up with new ideas and are very creative. The game has a lot of depth to it and the lore is fricken juicy man if your into those kind of things. It has some of the best voice acting I've ever seen in a game. Some tips though, sites.
http://poe.trade/
is the site you use to find people selling items. In your bank menu there's an option to make your bank tab public, then it lets you price your items. All the items people put and value in their public tab go on this site. There's a competitive market so you can get things far cheaper then you may trying to get items through the trading tab.
http://currency.poe.trade/
same as the one for trading items but it's for currency. BE CAREFUL NOT TO USE YOUR CURRENCY, you could get a super rare one which is worth a ton or at least worth something. On this page you can evaluate what you have and trade for what you need. Takes a bit to get used to the values but once you do it's much quicker.

Is a program for planning your builds or saving builds, very useful.

This is one that i need to look into myself. As you progress through the game and join groups to farm areas, more and more loot just starts dropping and it can fill part of the screen. This apparently auto sorts and prioritizes all the loot that drops. A friend used it and it's apparently very useful. Some of the more renown PoE players have their own filters which you can download, like ZiggyD:

What else? It's a great game, lots of depth, very well made, and the dev team just won't quit making new and interesting stuff.
AND IT'S BLOODY FREE. Only thing you might have to buy, and they're on sale often, is bank tabs, which are cheap if i remember correctly.

PoE new expansion hype! Been playing since the early closed betas so if anyone has questions just ask.
What are you guys playing this league? I'm working on the second version of my AW totem build. This time without EQ and going Chieftain tri-totem with the unique +1 totem quiver.

I have a level 90 Lowlife 7 aura Flameblast totem Necromancer and a level 90 Selfcast Life-based Righteous Fire Chieftain.
Also tried a CI Blade Vortex Pathfinder, but she died after getting Frostwall PKed in Uberlab at level 93. That build is insanely OP though.

Mmm, I miss doing a low life build. So much fun packed into all those reservations. Last time I ran one was before the new phys spells and ran flask EK. I guess it's time to check those out with the CI meta.
Any plans on the new channeling spells? I've already got a tab of gear sitting and waiting to see what we can build.
