Hey guys and gals James here aka Wade D McGinnis. My question is I am looking to play through the Fallout series for the first time. Starting with the original then working up to Fallout 4. My issue is having tested out the original Fallout, I find I die within ten to fifteen minutes!
So I need a little advice. What would be the best skills, weapons, etc. for a first time player? Any information would be super helpful!

I only played through Fallout 1 once quite a few years ago, so I am hardly an authority on the matter, but I can say that putting many points into small guns definitely helped me blast my way through a lot of problems. That and lots of save scumming.
