I was wondering if should I play Subnautica before its gone of early access, I'm not sure if I should invest my time in a game that will keep changing and I will probably need to restart my save a couple of times.
I know that most of the big changes are already done but I didn't saw any dates for the full realease.
Should I play Subnautica or wait

I'd honestly recommend to wait until it's done, at least all the story elements etc. I played it before all that was in and didn't spoil much, but now that significant parts of that are introduced waiting till it's all done means you can get the full experience.
If you don't care about backstory then go for it, majority is already in and if you do need a new save file you can get back up to speed pretty fast after playing it once.

Same thing wondrouswarp said, but I'll add that if you're the type that replays games more than once then it's worth checking out. They're in the process of adding a lot more content. I've already played through it twice with about six months in between and it's like playing a sequel with all of the changes. I've definitely gotten my money's worth.

I bought the game, had trouble with my save games up to 3 times. waisted 40 hours. My advice is wait a bit. FWY it's a really fun game.

Was it because of random crashes? If so, there are files in the game directory that save the state of terrain and harvestable materials. The files are named according to their position on the in-game map. If you delete all of the files except the ones where your bases are, then the game lags far less and is crash free, but all of the harvestable materials reappear. Unfortunately, it's the only solution right now but they're trying to find a better method to save the game state. There's a forum post on the Subnautica website that gives more details.
