I have a new Youtube channel and one of my uploads a week is retro gaming.
My first week I have done Altered Beast (which it turns out i suck at) and Streets of Rage (Not much better)
Any advice on games I should try?

Play what YOU want. Playing a game you don't enjoy ruins the viewing experience.

If you would like more viewers, you might try to play retro games that still have a larger community. Pro's and con's of that, of course, but it's an idea. Another idea is to do rarer games, so people looking for playthroughs but not finding anything or much, would be directed to you, if you do your SEO and updates regularly. Personally, why not do those you're really interested in. Then you may do it because you find it enjoyable, not like a chore or task.
