Hey guys and gals,

I thought we should have a thread that allowed people to post links, pics, vids of any indies or new projects that they have come across. As we know Indie development is possibly the most innovative when it comes to pushing genres and creating amazing worlds that capture the player. So with that being said, we need to help these developers get their amazing projects out there.

So to start this off I had stumbled across this really interesting indie game that seems to take the Minecraft building and crafting elements and put them in a sea fairing setting. players create their ships and battle other players and monsters in a heavy physics driven world. Check you the link below to their indieDb page. They also have a soon to be launched site at www.fromthedepthsgame.com the game can also be found and voted for on Steam Greenlight.

Overgrowth can pe pre-puchased at http://www.wolfire.com/overgrowth. This title is more expensive than most alpha stage games at USD 29.95 but it is updated weekly. The Dead Linger

I know what your thinking....Another zombie survival game. That is what I thought too, but lets be honest, they are just cool...lol. Seriously though I have been reading a lot about this game and have purchased the alpha and have been playing it and while it is rough around the edges right now the building concepts are really good. Just check out the video below and find out what I mean.

I can tell you that like all alphas and early access games the price will go up. They have stated that they intend to raise the price to $24.99 when it reaches beta and $29.99 for its full release. The alpha is $19.99 which is higher that most indies, but again if you are wanting to buy it this is the best time. Since the game has been green-lit by valve it could reach beta stages sooner as funding starts rolling in for development.

You're right about that! But at the moment I've almost no money. BUT, in the coming week à 2 weeks I'll get up to €600 à €700. So that will be all right then. :)

XenoMiner

XenoMiner includes an extensive crafting system and several exciting gameplay hooks. One incredibly fun feature is the ability to walk on walls with gravity-bending boots - players can build bases, bridges, tunnels and mine shafts without regard to any given orientation, which can lead to some mind-bending structures and architecture, as well as many interesting gameplay situations.

Even more exciting, XenoMiner includes construction bots of alien origin that are programmable with scripts and routines, and can be directed to build structures of immense scope or assist in the mining process. Deciphering the language's basic instructions should be an easy but enjoyable task, and we are eager to expand this feature in future updates.

“This engaging new voxel game.. doesn’t just rise above the sea of uninspired copycats; it differentiates itself.. with a sci-fi theme and some clever tweaks.” –GameInformer.com

I'm just afraid of the minecraft feel to it, i'm terrible at crafting things and creating houses, so i would have to be more of the guy that scavenges for food and supplies if i co-oped that.

im the same way but i enjoy if for the explorations aspect and its cool when you figure out how to craft an item without looking at a wiki. granted sometimes i just need a little help but its so much better to do it myself.
