Hello everyone!
Hopefully this is the right place to ask. Someone had told me that Alpha servers are staying on until release and a Beta server will run parallel until release. What concerns me is that I was also told that the Alpha server wouldn't be accessible unless you were actually part of the Alpha.
Does anyone know if this means we won't be able to join Cohh, Bike, Ello, and the others on Beta/Release unless we get the Alpha?

I believe that when the Beta servers go live the Alpha server will run parallel. After the game releases the Alpha server is renamed to the Public Test Server and continues to run alongside the game. I don't believe there is any information currently regarding Alpha server access during the Beta period.

Alpha servers will be online 24/7 until a day or two before headstart/release - They will then be wiped (OR MAYBE NOT!!! - according to the shop FAQ, you might keep your stuff up there! but you can ofc only access it when it's up) and re-purposed as Public Test Servers (probably)
The only way to get access to Alpha servers atm. is to buy the $150/€135 Archemum Founder Pack.
Beta servers will be online for several, but limited, periods of time, as announced by Trion in advance. - They will ALSO be wiped before release, but should remain "as is" in-between uptimes (so that if you build eg. house in Beta Weekend #1, you'll still have it for Beta Weekend #4).
You gain access to the Beta servers by buying one of the 2 smaller Founder Packs.
Alpha & Beta servers are SEPERATE (atleast it does really seem to appear so from what Trion's said so far).
For both Alpha & Beta servers : EU/NA ppl play on the SAME Alpha OR Beta servers and there should be no big lag difference (although, with increasing playernumbers, this might change).
On release, there will be dedicated EU and NA servers, but Trion has so far said that they will NOT geo-IP-lock servers for NA/EU - so anyone can be free to play with the Cohhilition on NA servers, regardless of where you are in the world.
So, basically, if you wanna play with Cohh, Ello, Nekrage, Bikeman, Sacriel and all the "cool streamer kids" before release, you need to shell out for an Alpha-access granting Founder Pack as they won't be around on the seperate Beta servers.

Nice to know that they are not going to restrict and lock us to our geo locations.
