Farm Building / Farming Concern

I'm lvl 24 and have still completed what seemed to be the questline that gets you started in farming (due to there being NO WHERE) to plant protected seeds / saplings. How big of a disadvantage am I putting myself at waiting this long? I'd love to be able to harvest lumber and the like, but I have no idea where to begin at this point....Any suggestions / help would be greatly appreciated.

You could always plant one in a pvp area. I'm level 33 and I have my large farm in a pvp area. Just have to be careful and wait until the area's are at time of peace.

I would say near the City of Towers (I think ts called) in Mahadevi. Just north of the outer wall (GREEN) near the Trade Merchants. Easy access to water, seeds, livestock and tree saplings; of which you will need for upcoming projects. I am lvl 31 and I've been there since about lvl 20.

Unfortunately its a bit far for me now, being that I travel out into pvp areas, but I used that farm to get my boat (Lumber/Cotton) and its really really close to Arcum Iris (the YELLOW path South) if your interested in mining for Iron Ore and Stone (RED).
