Interested in finding out what classes everyone is enjoying.

Myself I am enjoying a few so makes it hard to stay just one.

Melee:
Inquisitor (Battle/Shadow/Vit)
Darkrunner (Battle/Shadow/Aura)

Caster:
Demonologist (Witch/Occult/Sorcery)
Necromancer (Witch/Occult/Wit)
Shaman (Witch/Shadow/Vit)

Been wanting to try out
Cleric (Aura/Song/Vit)

I wouldn't go cleric for a leveling build myself. While Vitalism is really good for a supporter, ..

Soncraft is very redundant till the extremely high levels with the attack buff song and even then for big scale battles I have my doubts due to the small range even with the passive increase.Zeal is nice but to dump in 8 points total into a tree for a single passive doesn't seem very good to me. The heals are subpar both on mana/heal cost as well as on actual spike healing. The aoe well of healing isn't bad, but thats about it. The damage is very very subpar. Not only are the actual damage skills weak, even the basic ones have cooldown and you cannot constantly attack with it. the second damage skill has a 5 second delay which is kind of annoying. A single long CD instant stun, while nice by itself, is the only thing triggering charm, used for the only real combo chain so you cannot even mix combos very well with songcraft.

Auramancy by itself is mostly a support tree, especially for PvP. It doesn't have a whole ton of direct active effects that help you a lot in PvE. Getting out of CC's is rarely an issue against normal mobs, the health buff is nice, but beyond that there are only short duration long cooldown effects that are more of a one time fire and forget clicky and not something you can use constantly while questing.

Both mixed together, while they might be useful for big group fight pvp, are horrible for a leveling build. No damage at all makes soloing hard, no good chains make it even harder. For PvE healing you will only use vitalism anyways because they are more mana efficient and are direct heals.

I switched Rynea from Cleric to Gypsy recently (Vitalism, Songcraft, Socery) to get some more damage into my build to be able to level. Doing 300 damage at level 40 with 2 second casts and 4 second cooldowns is kinda low. My lvl 31 pet does more damage than I do ..

It would be fully for large scale fights as support class. Some times it is fun to stand back and make sure your friends can smash someone's face in.

I'd never ever do the cleric for leveling at all.

I leveled as a Stone Arrow(Archery, Defense, Shadowplay) and I'm currently enjoying Blighter(Battlerage, Defense, Shadowplay)

I want to spec into heals as well since the guild lacks a lot of heals, but I'm sacrificing my tanking for it.

So I started off with pretty much 3/4 worlds.... I did battlerage/vitalism/witchcraft (I cant remember what the combo was called) Found out fast that while you now have enough cc to hold something in place for about an hour the damage was very low at the early levels and took a long time to get off. I then changed witchcraft out for defence which made me I think something along the lines of a paladin but I didnt like the cast times for the heals at lower levels and i didnt need any heals for the most part for pve so i then switched out vitalism for songcraft to give myself buffs and became a Dawncaller.

I kept this until about lvl 34 where all the little perks of songcraft where great but they really didnt help me in the long run with anything so I went testing again. Took occultism to get some decent aoe attacks so that people would possibly stop pulling the mobs we werent focusing on. Decent for pve and pvp if you could get close enough to a person or group but as it was a secondary concern and my Intelligence was low I soon switched back out of it.

After that I tried auramancy which is just as Rynea described it above and just didnt feel like it was needed for my build. So at this time I had worked my way to 50 and decided I was going to stop tanking and start being a dps and thus picked up Shadowplay/Archery coupled with my ever constant battlerage. This made me an Outrider and if i had better gear (and about 20 more skill set levels for them) I feel I will no longer have any problems though i can still tank and have alot of damage should i change out archery for defence.

I enjoyed my Dirge for a while, still run it. Its Battle, Witchcraft, Songcraft. I wanted to make a Trip Build, but Songcraft doesn't REALLY fit into it that well. I still like Batte for the damage, Witchcraft is great for CC's, escapes, and good magic defense, but I can't think of a good third to round out a trip build, or give me some added damage while they're down.

Vit has the buff/debuff that will trigger a knockdown. You also have a skill, 3rd row right side, in shadow that does more dmg to knocked down targets.

I'm having a blast with my Outrider. Which is Archery, Shadowplay, and Battlerage. It's so much fun.

Mind sharing the build your using? I've been using archery, shadowplay and auramancy, but looking at other alternatives to auramancy.

Do you melee much or mostly archery skills?

I switch a lot between archery and melee. It's pretty effective. What all about it do you want to know?

If you wouldn't mind throwing your build into a http://arche-base.com/ build and shooting a link here with the skills you're using. I'm possibly looking to switch to battlerage as well and just wondered the skills others are using.

i'm loving my spellsinger (sorc, shadow, songcraft). Runs out of mana pretty easily when pveing but pvp is a blast with him. I'm still only 37 so I have a few more skills before I really start to see the dmg in pvp.

Currently testing and enjoying Hierophant.

Aura/Vital/Witch

It lacks in offensive but huge survival skills, group and self heals and loads of CC.

Last night I started a Western toon, I like how their humans look. Did a Gypsy build, think that was the name, it is Sorc/Song/Vit. I am shocked on how much fun it is to play.
I feel like I do plenty of dps and plenty of self healing. I also learned many of Songs buffs I can shot off and go back to DPSing. Thought they where channels.

They are channels for the buff to last longer then 3 seconds but you can move around during that time.

I have played around with quite a few of the vit combinations. A lot of them i found quite lacking in damage, song was nice for running faster etc... but overall it was not all that useful for healing. Right now I'm playing with Boneweaver(vit/aura/sorc) and liking it quite a bit, good heals, aura goes well with vit, making my main heal almost without a cooldown, and it has quite a bit of defensive aspects, while sorc gives me the damage to level and later on has the potential to offer a few CCs as well.

I love my spellsinger, It sucks for solo pve, but pvp is amazing with it. 1 combo usually crits for 8k+ damage, and I have hit 18k a couple of times in pvp. If luck is on your side, you can burst down anyone
