I have been wracking my brain for months now trying to remember the name of a particular game that I played potentially 10+ years ago. I only remember that it is/was and MMO, and that my class had the ability to become a Werebear. The last thing I remember is a part of the gear upgrade system; and that is simply that you could upgrade gear to something like +15 and every time you went to upgrade it (e.g from 1 to 2 or 12 to 13) it would have a progressively shinier golden sheen until it almost entirely a sparkly gold, but it would also have a higher chance of breaking and you would have to start over if it did break.
I simply want to find this game, anyone able to give me a hand?
A Game I cannot find.

skizmatic there is currently a thing called the Shadowbane Emulator. It's in open beta now and you can re-live your Shadowbane days! I might jump back in but we'll see haha. Not sure how close it is to the original.
