Could also be the Twitch bug issue where, the video doesn't load immediately for a channel. I've run into this a bunch of times myself, where I just get a black screen when opening Twitch to a channel I use often (like Cohh 24/7). If you run into a black screen rather then the 'end of block' splash screen, try reloading the page. Sometimes it takes me 2-3 reloads to get the page and chat working normally which I just chalk up to Twitch not working well with the cached info they save into my browser.McLunnainn wrote: ↑Sat Feb 28, 2026 4:26 pmYou're joking? You mean to say that I've been unlucky enough to join up in the mere two minutes that the stream is on break so many times, and been impatient enough to move on too soon?BarryCarlyon wrote: ↑Sat Feb 28, 2026 1:52 pmThats the two minute max gap between blocks. I just dont want to tune in and find myself after the end of one block, but before the next block starts up, because there's...nothing to see.
I dont know how often that happens, but there have been a few times I tune in and it's just one empty screen with nothing on.
Should be the "end of block" card with some cohhilition music on.
So with current block system thats three times a day
I guess that tracks, tbh. My life in a nutshell.
Alright, then - the breaks can stay!

No a fan of the current block system at all.
Reasons being:
1. Watching the same video 2 to 3 times in the same day.
2. Cutting videos off mid playthrough to go to the next block.
3. Continuation on 2 and then going back to the previous game/ playthrough
4. Makes the playthroughs last way too long. Example: playlist that were 50 videos, before block system would take 4 days, block system takes 7 days.
If there needs to be a block system maybe make it 2 blocks. 8am to 8pm and 8pm to 8am.
But again this is just my opinion. Still love the channel, the community and most of all Cohh.

As someone living on the east coast who only listens to the cohh channel in the background at work, the current block system is perfect for me, as I really am only tuned in during work hours (roughly 8 to 4 est). I like the feeling that the playthroughs aren't flying by super-fast like they were before using blocks. In my opinion 4 blocks is too much but 2 or 3 would both work well

For me, I like the blocks, the only thing I dont like is the fact its still live when cohh is live, it feels exploititive and I have legit been in cohh channel and didnt notice he was actually live. It is confusing.

My two cents on the subject, is almost exactly this. I would honestly say that Block or No Block doesn't matter, as in reality, Twitch is not the best place to be watching full playthroughs, as neither Main nor 24H channels pause for ads. I would make the argument that if people are going to watch a full playthrough, it's going to be on YouTube, as when an ad plays YT auto pauses the video for the ad. For those with Premium, there are no ads at all. Not saying that either channel should pause for ads, but it is a system that I like.husby123 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 28, 2026 10:43 amI would say missing part of the rerun is not a factor, if it was a playthrough I am really focused on and worried about missing content I would switch to the YouTube playlist. I would prefer not to be caught between blocks and have something repeat that I have already seen that day, but I know I am probably not the average viewer. My hours are pretty flexible, I am EST if that helps.BarryCarlyon wrote: ↑Sat Feb 28, 2026 9:13 amDepending on the game on main _in theory_ you only watch block 3, block 1 you are asleep and block 2 cohh is live (or lunch)?
Just wondering what your average watch time is, in order to not miss any of the rerun in progress? Or is not missing any of the rerun not a factor?
However, one thing that I do see a lot of people stopping by the 24H channel for, is the chatter. I can pop into the 24H channel at any time, regardless of what's going on, watch for a while, and then chat, "Yo, I just tuned in, what's going on?" and suddenly there's a whole conversation that spawned. Talking about the game, talking about other games, etc.. No, I don't pop in often, but the streams exist always on a loaded browser tab that exists for when I need a break from whatever else I'm doing.
Also, the block thing I find... Not quite annoying. I don't have a word for what I'm looking for, but as I'm at my computer all the time (unfortunately unemployed
Again, just my two cents.
